Meet our Massage Therapists
Our Massage Therapists are in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and can provide receipts for insurance.
Jennifer Bloch, RMT, Owner, Director RMTAO
Massage Therapy was an easy career choice for me. It gave me an opportunity to do something I am extremely passionate about, making a difference in peoples’ lives. In addition to skills I have gained through my education at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, my experience in my previous career in Human Resources gives me a unique ability to help my clients establish realistic and achievable goals for their healthcare.
Having been a recipient of massage for many years, I have extremely high standards for client care. All associate Massage Therapists at JBRMT share these values. I am committed to helping clients differentiate between unsubstantiated claims about the benefits of Massage Therapy and true evidence so that they are empowered to make informed decisions about their health care options.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, want relief from muscular tension, suffer from chronic pain or are looking to reduce stress, your experience while in my care is my priority.
A vital part of my practice philosophy involves creating a safe space where clients are comfortable asking questions and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their massage therapy treatments.
This is achieved by encouraging a partnership throughout the assessment and treatment process and providing a treatment plan and home care recommendations that are specific to my individual client’s needs.
In addition to working with adults, older adults, and youth, I very much enjoy working with children. My background in early childhood education and over 25 years of experience with children is an asset when engaging and helping set achievable health goals for younger people.
I provide treatment to pregnant clients during their pregnancy and in their postpartum stages tailoring the treatment to their specific needs throughout the process.
I look forward to supporting you in meeting your goals.
Stephanie Maxwell, RMT
I completed my massage therapy training at the acclaimed Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2014. I am a registered member in good standing with both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario.
I strongly believe in the benefits of massage therapy to soothe sore muscles, aid in relaxation, develop greater body awareness, and address postural imbalances. I practice a wellness-focused, client-centred approach. My treatments encompass a combination of trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, neuromuscular techniques and relaxing Swedish massage.
Along with maintaining a thriving clinical practice, I also hold a faculty position at Sutherland-Chan. At Sutherland-Chan, I teach Pregnancy Massage and am a clinical supervisor for the High Risk Pregnancy Specialty Clinic at Sunnybrook Hospital.
I have extensive peri-natal massage training, as I have completed advanced training through Perinatal Massage Therapy Education. I believe pre and postnatal massage to be of incredible benefit: birth parents develop a strong connection with their babies and their bodies while decreasing stress and promoting a healthy fetal environment. I am passionate about supporting families in this beautiful transitory period of new life.
I am also the mother of two awesome little boys who keep me very busy chasing after them.
