For the last year and a half, in addition to practicing at the Broadway clinic, I have also been working at Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Centre and Palliative Care unit. STAFF & SHIFT CHANGES As many of you may already know, I have been on Maternity leave since January 2017. I want to thank you for your continued loyalty to JBRMT and giving our other therapists a chance to work with you in my absence. I have been so unbelievably fortunate to have Ayelet and Andrea on board at the clinic to help cover my shifts during my time off. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Andrea Carloni will be leaving us effective January 5th, 2018 to pursue an incredible opportunity working in Australia for a year. Ayelet and I will miss her being.

JBRMT CLINIC RATE CHANGE 2016

                      Effective March 15, 2016 we will be raising our rates to help manage our expenses so that we can continue to ensure the comfort, convenience, and safety of all of our clients. Clients who have previously booked with us prior to March 15th 2016 will continue to pay the old rate until July 1, 2016 at which point the new rates will come in to effect. If you are a regular user of massage therapy, you can purchase a package of six treatments for a reduced rate*. *Package conditions: Clients may cancel their packages for a full refund at any.

Ayelet and I are very excited to welcome our newest associate, Colette Slone, RMT. Our growth in this little private practice over the last six months has been exponential, however, we are each very committed to maintaining a small-practice feel so that each and every one of our clients feel like they are getting the most personalized treatments that best meet their individual needs. Colette is a graduate from Sutherland-Chan and in addition to injury prevention, Colette has experience in the areas of chronic pain, sports, and pregnancy. Each of the RMTs at Jennifer Bloch & Associates is dedicated to partnering with clients individually to ensure that the treatment provided.

February is ‘Heart Month’ and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Heart & Stroke foundation and all those who have donated toward the research that may have given me one more day, one more milestone to celebrate with my niece, Rachel. My 5 year old niece Rachel has Tricuspid Atresia which basically means she is missing the Tricuspid Valve in her heart that helps blood from the heart get to the lungs. Her condition is very severe, and causes her to turn blue, lose her breath, and get very tired with the smallest amount of exertion. Watch Rachel in action and see for yourself how she pushes.
