What are massage therapists really thinking?

Ever wonder what your massage therapist is really thinking about while you are thinking “Did I shave my legs?” This pretty much is exactly what I am thinking about while treating my clients. I came across these photos on Facebook. For more pictures like these, search “Back in Motion Therapeutic Massage” in Facebook.

Massage Therapy: Cost Effective Solution for Back Pain

Study Shows Massage Therapy is Cost-Effective This study shows that Massage Therapy might be the most effective treatment to improve quality of life for back pain patients among other non-physician practitioners. It also demonstrates that Massage Therapy, along with other specialities such as osteopathic, family/general, internal medicine doctors, and chiropractors were more cost-effective than other specialties for the treatment of back pain. Side note: Currently there is some controversy about the effects of Massage Therapy for low back pain. Some studies show that it is effective, and other show that it may not be so. There seems to be a correlation but causation has yet to be determined. Be skeptical.

I try to listen to your body with your input and provide the best possible treatment that is relevant to what your body needs in that moment. Sure, when indicated, I might suggest a treatment.

Ayelet has been with JBRMT now for about two months so far and will be taking on more hours to accommodate the demand for her treatments. “Whether you are recovering from an injury, want relief from muscular tension, suffer from chronic pain or are looking to reduce stress, your experience while in my care is my priority.
